The PCID Forum 2026 – Portugal–Denmark Forum on Science, Innovation and Diplomacy will bring together Portuguese, Danish and European stakeholders to explore how research, innovation and science diplomacy can strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The Forum will mark the public presentation of the main findings and recommendations of the PCID – Portugal–Denmark: Science, Innovation and Diplomacy project, a comparative study of the Portuguese and Danish research and innovation ecosystems. Combining data analysis with insights from policymakers, universities, funding organisations, researchers, industry representatives and the Portuguese scientific diaspora, the project examines the institutional models, governance structures and policy approaches that shape each country’s capacity to transform research excellence into innovation and impact.
