Scientific Diplomacy in Action: Portugal and the Nordics Strengthen Ties in Copenhagen


On 26 September 2025, the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Humanities (Søndre Campus) will host the launch of the report “Mapping Scientific Collaborations between Portugal and the Nordic Countries”, a pioneering study that explores and highlights the evolving research ties between Portugal and the Nordic region.


Organized by SPOT Nordic — under a cooperation protocol with the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) — and supported by the PhD Association Network of Denmark, this event brings together academics, policymakers, and institutions for a timely conversation about science diplomacy and collaboration.
