About us
Expose the value of the Portuguese community living in the Nordic countries.
The SPOT Nordic Association was founded in 2020 by a group of Portuguese researchers and graduate professionals residing in Denmark, with the purpose of representing and defending the interests of a highly qualified and growing community.
After the approval of its first statutes at the General Assembly, the Association began its expansion process, quickly creating national representations in the remaining countries of Nordic Europe: Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Its development and high demand enabled rapid growth, which led to the creation of the Association's Scientific Council. Aiming to promote the deepening of Science Diplomacy and the expansion of relations between Portuguese researchers in Portugal and the Nordic countries, this represents an important milestone in the Association's history.
Vision
Promote the organic growth of SPOT Nordic through the development of its structure, through its professionalization and the dynamization of relations between Nordic Europe and the members of the Association.

SPOT Nordic is today an organization registered in Denmark with national representations in the Nordic countries and with an active role in promoting relations between these countries and Portugal.
