The GraPE Forum returns to an in-person format, in Lisbon, at the Knowledge Pavilion. This year's event focuses on the Return to Portugal. What are the motivations and what are the opportunities to return?

Come celebrate GraPE's 10th anniversary with us and discover new job opportunities that are emerging in Portugal!

The GraPE Forum was born in 2012, on the initiative of PAPS (Portuguese American Postgraduate Society) and PARSUK (Portuguese Association of Students and Researchers in the UK), which were joined by AGRAFr (Association of Portuguese Graduates in France), ASPPA ( Association of Portuguese Postgraduates in Germany), APEI-Benelux (Portuguese Association of Students and Researchers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg), AGRAPS (Association of Portuguese Graduates in Switzerland) and SPOT Nordic (Association of Portuguese Graduates in the Countries Nordics). This is an annual event that brings together the qualified Portuguese diaspora, with the aim of sharing professional experiences and debating crucial issues about the future of the country and its citizens, from the job market to scientific progress. The previous nine sessions were enriched with excellent speakers from the political, economic, social, scientific and academic worlds.

The GraPE 2022 Forum edition will have a hybrid format, to promote the participation of all interested parties who are not available to travel to the capital. There will be two sessions in a round table format. The first part is dedicated to the return to Portugal and the second to the challenges of preparing for a potential return. In this way, we intend to involve the Portuguese graduate community abroad, as well as our guests, in information and discussion sessions on the incentives and challenges that could lead the Portuguese graduate community to return to live and work in Portugal. Here are some of the questions we want to address:

- What are the main challenges that Portugal poses to a qualified citizen?

- What is the profile of Portuguese graduates who are abroad and would like to return?

- What measures are necessary to encourage Portuguese graduates to return to Portugal?

- How can Portuguese graduates abroad contribute to the development of Portuguese society?

To answer these questions, we count on your precious participation, in a rich and interactive program, for which we count on everyone's participation. In this way we want to reach conclusions and generate a manual of recommendations to the government.
