Publication Rules for "The Researcher’s Chronicle"

Description and Framing

"The Researcher’s Chronicle" is a publication of the SPOT Nordic Association dedicated to the dissemination of academic work and opinion of its members. This space was created to promote scientific research and foster informed discussions on relevant topics. As a writer, you have the opportunity to contribute to an interested and informed audience.


Who can be a chronicler?

The space is open to all active members of the SPOT Nordic Association. The chronicler must be someone involved in research activities, teaching or other professional practices that align with the objectives of the association.


Chronicler Picture

Each article must be accompanied by a high-resolution photograph of the reporter. The image must be professional and be sent with the article.

Article structure

  1. Title: Clear and relevant to the subject.

  2. Abstract: A brief introductory paragraph about the chronicler and the context in which the article is written.

  3. Body of Text: Divided into sections and subsections, as appropriate.

  4. Conclusion: A summary of the main observations and arguments.

  5. Bibliographic references: All data or citations must be duly cited.

  6. Links: If the opinion article is based on or refers to other publications, relevant links should be included.

Extension

The article should not exceed the limit of 4500 characters c/spaces, with the letter between sizes 12 to 13.

Format

  • Font: Times New Roman ou Arial

  • Space: 1,5

  • Margins: 1 inch (approx. 2.54 cm) on all sides


Bibliographic References

Use the APA, MLA or Chicago style for citations and reference lists. References should be listed at the end of the article and included in the page count.


Submission

Articles must be submitted through the submission tool on the SPOT Nordic Association website, following all instructions.


Review and Publication

All articles will be submitted to a review process by editorial group of members of the executive board until the creation of an editorial outside the board. The selected articles will be published in "A Crónica do Investigador" and shared through the association’s channels.
