SPOT Nordic and AICEP Denmark Announce a Joint Health Sector Event in Connection with HIMSS Europe 2026

SPOT Nordic and AICEP Denmark have established a strategic collaboration to organize a health sector networking event on 19 May 2026, taking place in connection with the HIMSS Europe Health Conference & Exhibition 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

HIMSS conference is one of the world’s leading gatherings dedicated to digital health and healthcare innovation, bringing together healthcare providers, technology companies, policymakers, researchers, and investors to explore the future of healthcare.

The AICEP – Agência para o Investimento e Comércio Externo de Portugal is Portugal’s official trade and investment agency, dedicated to supporting the internationalisation of Portuguese companies and attracting foreign investment. With a global network of offices, including AICEP Denmark, AICEP plays a central role in advancing Portugal’s economic diplomacy and facilitating international business partnerships.

The initiative will take the form of a post-conference cocktail event, bringing together key stakeholders from the health and life sciences sectors in Portugal and Denmark, particularly highly qualified Portuguese professionals and researchers. The event aims to foster connections between Portuguese and Nordic organizations, encouraging collaboration and international partnerships.

The strategic meeting brought together representatives from both SPOT Nordic and AICEP Denmark. SPOT Nordic was represented by David Pereira de Castro, Chair of the organisation, Rita Valinhas, Secretary and Projects Coordinator, and Carolina Coelho, Marketing Manager. Representing AICEP Denmark were Maria João Veiga Gomes, AICEP Director Denmark and Rita Moreira, Trade and Investment Intern.

It is also noteworthy that Carolina Coelho (SPOT Nordic) and Rita Moreira (AICEP Denmark) are participants in the C28 edition of the INOV Contacto programme, promoted by AICEP to support the internationalisation of young Portuguese professionals.
