SPOT Nordic and Quidgest establish strategic partnership to strengthen Scientific Diplomacy and Innovation between the Nordic Countries and Portugal

SPOT Nordic, the Association of Portuguese Graduates and Researchers in the Nordic Countries, and Quidgest, a pioneering Portuguese technology company specializing in generative AI for automated software development, have signed a strategic partnership to foster scientific research, knowledge sharing, and innovation between the Nordic region and Portugal.

Effective from 2024 to 2026, this partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening ties between the two regions through advancements in science and technology. It introduces a range of initiatives designed to enhance the visibility and professional development of the Portuguese community in the Nordic Countries.

Key initiatives of this partnership include:

• Research grants: Quidgest will fund research grants totaling €7,000 to support Portuguese researchers in technological projects. • Logistical support: SPOT Nordic members and partners will benefit from logistical support, including access to Quidgest’s facilities in Lisbon when needed.
