As an institutional partner of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), SPOT Nordic is promoting the new FCT Mobility program, which supports the international mobility of Portuguese researchers.

This initiative is designed to support medium- and long-term mobility of researchers to national or international institutions, for conducting research activities and/or fieldwork.

Researchers can define their own mobility plans and freely choose the countries and institutions that best align with their goals and research objectives. The initiative promotes international visibility, career development, and fosters the internationalization of the national scientific community.

The Nordic countries have economies that heavily invest in scientific research and innovation, with internationally recognized institutions that could be the ideal partners for your mobility.

Since its founding in 2020, SPOT Nordic has developed a strong network of Portuguese researchers and professionals based in the Nordic countries, who can support you during your mobility—particularly in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
