SPOT Nordic is delighted to announce the results of the 2024 edition of the Nordic Fellowship. Following a highly competitive selection process, which saw high-quality applications, we are pleased to announce the names of the researchers selected for this edition.
The Nordic Scholarship was created with the aim of promoting scientific collaboration between Portugal and the Nordic countries, providing Portuguese researchers with the opportunity to undertake research visits to prestigious institutions in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
Selected Researchers
The researchers selected for the Nordic Fellowship 2024 are:
Jade Müller Carneiro - University of Coimbra and University of Southern Denmark - Project: Supporting Sustainable Wastewater Nutrient Recovery through Prospective Life Cycle
Ana Isabel Caniço Neto - INESC-ID University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico and KTH Royal Institute of Technology - Project: Real-Time Inclusion Metrics based on children conversations
These researchers will receive financial support of €6,000 each to undertake research visits lasting between 2 and 6 months in the Nordic countries. The selected projects stood out for their scientific relevance, quality and potential impact for both the researchers and the institutions involved.
Next Steps
Selected researchers will be contacted directly by the SPOT Nordic team to confirm acceptance of the grant and proceed with the next steps, including defining the project schedule and preparing the necessary documentation.
