After the success of our first in-person event in Helsinki, hosted at the Residence of the Portuguese Ambassador on December 5, 2024, SPOT Nordic continues to strengthen its presence in Finland with a new gathering — this time in an online format, on May 13.
This event marks the official launch of the SPOT Finland Taskforce, a collaborative initiative aimed at following up on the ideas and proposals presented during the December meeting and laying the groundwork for new projects focused on the Portuguese community in this Nordic country.
Event Objectives
The main goals of the event are to:
Present the next steps of SPOT Nordic in Finland;
Officially launch the local Taskforce, composed of Portuguese researchers, professionals, and students;
Define priority areas for developing projects in scientific diplomacy, academic collaboration, and institutional visibility.
