SPOT Nordic holds Ordinary General Assembly

The Ordinary General Assembly takes place annually and aims to present the work of the board to the members and discuss relevant topics for the development of the Association.

After an intense year, where we returned to physical events, expanded our participation base, launched a new website, initiated the mapping of Portuguese academics and researchers in the Nordic countries, and created the conditions to start new projects, it is time to be accountable and come together again.

We are now an organization with 45 members with up-to-date dues, and about 350 subscribers. In addition to this, we have identified about 120 Portuguese professionals working in the largest multinational companies in the Nordic countries and about 45 academics/researchers in the various academies of this region. This is a clear sign of the Association's growth potential and what we can still accomplish. In this regard, we would like to convene the members for the next Ordinary General Assembly to be held on September 23rd between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm CEST.

The General Assembly will take place in a hybrid format, online and in-person for members in Copenhagen. It is then planned to hold a social event in the city of Copenhagen. We hope to soon expand to other Nordic cities.

The agenda of the General Assembly is as follows:

2. Summary of the first year of term;

3. Presentation of ongoing Projects:

   1. Researcher's Chronicle

   2. Student/Researcher Support Guide

   3. News on the SPOT Nordic website

4. Presentation of new guidelines;

5. Open Session for sharing ideas and questions.

In this sense, we provide direct access to the meeting link, where you can register for the event, access the GA link, and add it to your calendar through the event link on the website.

The event is limited to member participation but is open to observers.
