Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming healthcare systems around the world. From clinical diagnosis to the management of digital infrastructure and public health decision-making, AI technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the healthcare sector. At the same time, challenges related to governance, transparency, ethics, regulation, and patient safety are also on the rise.
With the aim of contributing to these discussions and strengthening international cooperation on the responsible implementation of AI in healthcare, SPOT Nordic and HealthAI are now launching a strategic collaboration focused on science diplomacy, institutional dialogue, and multisectoral cooperation in the Nordic region.
The initiative combines HealthAI’s international expertise in the responsible governance and implementation of artificial intelligence with SPOT Nordic’s network within the Nordic ecosystems of research, innovation, and institutional cooperation. Together, the collaboration aims to build bridges between policymakers, regulators, healthcare professionals, researchers, academic institutions, foundations, and innovation leaders working at the intersection of health and emerging technologies.
An institutional initiative focused on the Nordic region
The collaboration will begin with a series of institutional meetings and high-level roundtables in Denmark and Sweden, focused on the responsible governance of AI in healthcare.
